Peekskill's Wheelabrator Names New CEO PEEKSKILL, N.Y. — Wheelabrator Technologies Inc., which operates the Wheelabrator Westchester plant in Peekskill, has named Robert “Bob” C. Boucher Jr. the new president and CEO effective Monday, succeeding Mark A. Weidman. Weidman has announced his retirement as president and CEO of Wheelabrator after 25 years with the company. He has been critical to building the Wheelabrator business, including under Waste Management’s ownership, in the U.S., the U.K., and other international markets. Greenwich Cocktail Reception Benefits Orphans GREENWICH, Conn. -- Becker Salon in Greenwich will host a cocktail reception to benefit Orphans International Worldwide from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the salon at 380 Greenwich Ave. The event will benefit ongoing educational efforts in Haiti, India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka as well as Nepal in the wake of the recent earthquakes there.  The reception will be hosted by Orphans Internation Worldwide board member Sara Herbert-Galloway. In addition, Westchester County Surrogate Court Judge Brandon Sall officiated at the swearing-in of new board member Maddali Paci Atallah and returning board member Lianne Merchant, who was re-elected president by her peers.
