Montrose VA Facility Pool Gains $5.5M In Federal Funds MONTROSE, N.Y. – U.S. Rep. Nita Lowey, D-Westchester/Rockland, has announced the procurement of $5.5 million in federal funds to upgrade the indoor pool at the VA Hudson Valley Health Care System in Montrose and rebuild damaged portions of the pool building. Funding will allow for upgrades to the Montrose VA facility’s indoor pool and reconstruction of damaged parts of the pool building, enabling year-round recreation and therapy options for long-term care patients.
