Darien Gala Raises More Than $250,000 For Premature Babies
DARIEN, Conn. -- The Tiny Miracles Foundation raised more than $250,000 at its 10th-anniversary gala Friday, April 24 at the Wee Burn Country Club in Darien.
The event was led by co-chairs Ashley Dineen, of Darien, Marisela Esposito, of Weston, PJ Marcella, of New Canaan, and Ariane Triay, of Stamford.
The evening included dinner, dancing and a silent and live auction for 300 attendees.

Jeannine Marie Scianna, Norwalk Native
NORWALK, Conn. -- Jeannine Marie Scianna, a Norwalk native, died Tuesday, May 26, after a two-year struggle with ovarian cancer.
Scianna was born June 27, 1939, in Norwalk to Sarah Tatto D’Amico and Joseph D’Amico.
Scianna was a Florida resident for 50 years. She taught in public schools for 31 years, 28 of which were in the Brevard County school district. She enjoyed music and gardening, and always endeavored to give back to her community.
