Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Joseph A. Scalfaro, 47, of Absecon, allegedly sent the 17-year-old girl coded messages, kissed her in his classroom, NJ Advance Media reports citing court papers. Child Struck By Hit-Run Pickup Near South Jersey School Bellmawr police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred before school on Monday, Oct. 3. A 9-year-old child was struck near E.M. Burke School just prior to the start of school, Bellmawr police said. The pickup shown above immediately fled the scene and the child was taken to an area hospital where she was seen and released with minor injuries, police said. That's the word from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, which is continuing a $17 million bridge rehabilitation project in Tinton Falls. The project consists of four work areas. To complete each work area, a full closure of that ramp will be required and traffic will be detoured to either Interchanges 102 or 109.
