Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Inmate Knocks Out Corrections Officer With Metal Object At Central Mass Prison A Massachusetts Correctional Officer was seriously injured after they were attack by an inmate with a metal object at a Shirley prison, officials said. The attack happened in the gymnasium of MCI-Shirley around 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 31, a spokesperson with the Department of Correction told Daily Voice. ARL: Dog Dumped On Side Of The Road With Second-Degree Burns In Norwood The Animal Rescue League of Boston (ARL) is helping a 1-year-old dog who was found suffering from severe burns to 20% of its body this week in Norwood. Annie was found with second-degree burns to her head, neck, shoulders, front limbs and abdomen along Route 1 around Ellis Avenue, the ARL said. She was wearing a leash and collar but did not have any tags or microchip. Serial Sex Offender Sentenced For Raping Woman At Boston McDonald's: DA A convicted serial rapist has been sentenced for 25-30 years in prison for the 2018 rape of a woman in a McDonald's bathroom in Boston, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office reports.
