Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Massachusetts Deputy Police Chief Under Investigation On Administrative Leave A deputy police chief who is under investigation has been placed on administrative, authorities said.  Hopkinton Police Chief Joseph Bennett said Deputy Police Chief John Porter, who has been with the department since 1992, was placed on leave on Saturday, Aug. 27.  According to a release, Bennett learned about Porter's status on Thursday.
