Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Police said the man approached the child while they were using a porta potty at Fournier Field on Wednesday, Aug. 17. 2 Shot Near Hoyt Field In Cambridge: Police Cambridge Police are investigating after two men were shot near Hoyt Field late at night. Police responded to several reports of gunshots in the area of Hoyt Field and Howard Street around 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, police said. One victim suffered from serious injuries. The victims, ages 18 and 19, were said to be in stable condition the next morning, according to police. Homeowner Speaks Out After CT HS Football Player Is Called Racial Slur Residents in a northern Connecticut town are speaking out after an Enfield High School football player was called a racial slur during his team's annual fundraising program. 2 People Injured In Morning Shooting In Lawrence: Police Authorities in Lawrence are investigating after two people were shot on the morning of Friday, Aug. 19, Lawrence Police said on Facebook. The shooting happened in the area of Manchester Street and May Street, police said. Both victims were taken to hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries. Loved Ones Feel 'Sick' After 32-Year-Old Was Killed At Quincy Apartment Complex Tributes are pouring in for a 32-year-old Quincy homicide victim who loved ones say helped mold others into the people they are today. 5-Alarm Fire Demolishes Central Massachusetts Adhesive Company A company that produces adhesives is without a home after a 5-alarm fire completely destroyed their warehouse in central Massachusetts. Firefighters first responded to the fire at Mace Adhesives, located at 38 Roberts Road, at 9:43 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 18, Dudley Fire said on Facebook. Former Peabody Gym Teacher Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Students For Over 30 Years Thirteen former students from two Peabody middle schools have filed a lawsuit citing decades of sexual abuse from their former gym teacher. The lawsuit claims James Toltz, age 80, could have sexually abused up to 150 students at Higgins Middle School and John F. Kennedy Junior High School over 34 years.
