Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

More Than 100 Goats And Jerry The Emu Need 'Special' New Homes, Mspca Says The MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen is calling on some "very special" adopters to find homes for some very special pets.  The organization announced Thursday, Aug. 11 that over 100 goats need new homes after they were rescued from a Dighton property in January.  The goats, along with an adult mustang and emu, were seized after their previous owner failed to pay a $100,000 security that covered caring for animals from cruelty cases, the MSPCA said. Keith Jones, age 32, was arrested in connection with the shooting death of Felicia Obeng that occurred at 629 Cambridge Street on the evening of July 16, Worcester Police said. Obeng was taken to a local hospital after suffering from gunshot wounds where she was pronounced dead, police said. Unmarked Mass State Police Cruiser Involved In Boston Crash That Injured 4 Four people are hospitalized after a vehicle rear-ended an unmarked Massachusetts State Police cruiser in Boston, authorities said. The vehicle was driving in the area of Morton and Canterbury streets in Dorchester when it struck the cruiser around 2:05 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 10, State Police said. A Trooper inside the cruiser and the three occupants of the other vehicle were all taken to area hospital with minor injuries, police said. The back end of the cruiser sustained heavy damage as well as the front end of the striking vehicle.
