Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Peabody Man Get 21 Months In Prison For Distributing Fentanyl-Laced Drugs A man from Peabody was sentenced to 21 months in prison for distributing fentanyl and drugs laced with fentanyl, the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts reports. Francisco Tavarez, or “Jose,” was identified as a runner for a heroin and fentanyl supplier through an investigation launched after a fatal overdose in January 2017, the office reports.  The supplier, known as Yeffry Reynoso, provided opioids that led to the overdose, the office said.
