Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Potential Chimney Repair Scammer Wanted By Quincy Police Quincy Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a potential chimney repair scam, the department said on Facebook.  The suspect is described as a White male, between 30 and 40 years old, with a thick Irish brogue, police said. He may also be driving a white pickup truck with Florida plates.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Jimmy Chen at 617.745.5766.  The department is also reminding residents about the proper steps to take when hiring a contractor. Woman Wanted For Assaulting Officer In New Jersey Snagged In Massachusetts A Bronx woman wanted in New Jersey for assaulting a police officer was recently arrested in Boston, authorities said. An individual approached officers about a woman who was harassing another commuter, who she also spit on, at South Station around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 14, MBTA Transit Police said.  Officers later learned that the woman, later identified as Pia Weber, was wanted for assaulting a police officer in Hudson County, N.J. Weber was arrested for being a fugitive and taken to TPD's headquarters for booking.

A resident was walking her 11-year-old, 18-pound Cockapoo at Lynn Woods Playground when a male suspect walked past with his three unleashed Pit Bulls, Lynn Police said.
