Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Missing Boston Teen With Autism, Schizophrenia Found: Police UPDATE: Boston Police said Dimitrius Pepin Cepeda was found Boston Police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing teenager who suffers from Autism and Schizophrenia. Dimitrius Pepin Cepeda, age 16, of Roxbury, was last seen in the area of 7 Wheatley Way on Wednesday, July 13, police said. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants, white/black sneakers. Dimitrius also wears glasses. Police said he has previously been found in Newton and Everett. Boston Bicyclist Supposedly Killed By Dump Truck A bicyclist has died after being hit by a truck in Boston, according to authorities and other news outlets. The incident happened in the area of Huntington Avenue and Massachusetts Avenue around 12:09 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, Boston Police and WHDH report. West Nile Virus Detected In Massachusetts For The First Time In 2022 West Nile Virus has officially been detected in Massachusetts for the first time this year, the Department of Public Health (DPH) announced on Wednesday, July 13. The virus was found in a mosquito sample found collected on July 11 in Easton, DPH said. Man Charged With Murder Of Central Mass Popular Local 'Can Man Joe' Authorities have charged a man with the murder of a popular local from Webster who was found stabbed to death almost a month ago.
