Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Dunkin' Customer Dodges Bullet After Shots Fired Outside Boston-Area McDonald's Chelsea Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect after shots were fired outside a McDonald's, authorities said. Police responded to a report of shots fired at the parking lot of the McDonald’s at 178 Revere Beach Parkway just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5, Chelsea Police said. 13-Year-Old Boy Caught Driving Around Boston With Loaded Gun A 13-year-old boy is facing several charges after he was arrested for driving with a loaded gun on the night of July 4th, authorities said Police were patrolling the area of 144 Columbia Road in Dorchester when they observed a vehicle that had the wrong registration information, Boston Police said. One Killed, Another Injured, In July 4th Shooting Near Boston Suburb Country Club A Worcester man has died and another is fighting for his life following a July 4th shooting in Randolph, authorities said. Ivanildo Cabral, age 29, died after being shot in a parking lot near the Mojitos Country Club on Mazzeo Drive around 8 p.m. on Monday, Norfolk District Attorney Michael Morrissey said. Double Arrest Made In Recent Boston Homicide Two men have been arrested in connection with a recent homicide in Hyde Park, authorities said. Pierre Valbrun, age 20, of Roxbury, and Jonathan Thebaud, age 32, of Brockton were wanted in connection with the shooting death of Trevor Sands on October 10, 2021, Boston Police said. Boston Man Told Pregnant Woman To 'Go Freshen Up' After Beating Her, Infant A Boston man is awaiting a dangerousness hearing after he was charged with beating a pregnant woman and assaulting an infant, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office said. Marvin De La Cruz, age 23, attacked and strangled the woman, who is two months pregnant, while she was sleeping in her bedroom in Dorchester on Saturday, June 25, the office reports.
