Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Boston-Area Man Under House Arrest For Pointing Replica Rifle At Passing Cars A Winthrop man is under house arrest for threatening people with a realistic-looking replica of an assault weapon, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said. Gregory Gill, age 23, was caught sitting atop a military vehicle and pointing the weapon at passing cars before Winthrop's Independence Day parade on Saturday, July 2, Hayden said. Central Massachusetts Employee Steals $18K While Working Over 21 Days, Police Say Police out in Leicester have their hands and pockets full after arresting a man who stole $18,000 over the course of 21 days from their job, the department said. An investigation was launched when a local retailer contacted police to report an employee who was stealing large sums of cash while they were working. Massachusetts State Trooper Trainee Accidentally Shoots Himself In The Leg A trainee at the Massachusetts State Police Academy is in the hospital after accidentally shooting himself in the leg, an MSP spokesperson said. The trainee accidentally discharged his firearm during a training exercise at the academy in New Braintree on the morning of Wednesday, July 6. the spokesperson said. Man Arrested For Boston Common Daylight Stabbing Threatens To Kill Officers A Boston man is being held without bail after a daylight stabbing in Boston Common and attacking multiple police officers over the weekend, Suffolk County District Attorney Kevin Hayden said.
