Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Mspca, Northeast Animal Shelter Rescue 76 Beagles From Out-Of-State Breeding Facility Seventy-six beagles are responding well and will soon need new homes after being saved from a breeding facility by Massachusetts animal rescue teams.  The beagles are being housed at Northeast Animal Shelter and the MSPCA's adoption centers after being rescued from the out-of-state shelter, both organizations said on Facebook.  The dogs were said to be in "confined and and unsanitary conditions" and had almost no interaction with people. Guinness World Record's Largest Chicken Nugget Crafted In Cambridge History was made in Massachusetts when two TikTok star chefs smashed the world record for the largest chicken nugget.  Nick DiGiovanni and Lynn Davis joined forces to make a 46-pound chicken nugget in Cambridge, CBS Boston reports. Billerica Truck Driver Killed At Conley Terminal In Boston, Police Say A truck driver has died in a pedestrian-involved crash in Boston's Seaport district, authorities said.  Police responded to a crash at Conley Terminal around 11:41 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, Massachusetts State Police said.  Initial investigation revealed that a 72-year-old man from Revere was pulling a trailer into the Terminal when he struck a 41-year-old man from Billerica, according to police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.  The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other information was released.

30-Year-Old Man Dies After Falling From Bridge In Central Mass, Police Say A 30-year-old man has died after falling off the Burns Bridge in Shrewsbury, authorities said. An off-duty officer, who was on a boat in Lake Quinsigamond, called police about a male in the water near Belmont Street around 3:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, Shrewsbury Police said.  Rescue crews recovered the man's body and was later taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Brand Of Protein Bars Recalled Because Of Possible E. Coli Contamination More than 4,000 individual protein bars are being recalled because of potential E. Coli contamination, the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) reports.  The recall covers 4,196 "Banana Cream Pie Puffs" protein bars produced by Built Brands, LLC. of American Fork, UT, the FDA says.
