Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Man Sentenced For Nassau County Burglary Spree Targeting Gated Communities On North Shore A man was sentenced to 30 years in prison for stealing more than $1 million in cash and items from homes in gated communities on the North Shore, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said. Brayan Castano, age 33, of Queens, was part of a group who stole or tried to steal from eight houses in Old Westbury, Manhasset, Jericho and Woodbury from May 2018 to September 2018, the office reports. Five Charged After Meth, Cocaine, Heroin Seized In Western Mass Five people will be spending time behind bars after they were busted for various drug trafficking offenses in Western Massachusetts, authorities said.
