Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Missing Endangered Girl From Fairfax County Found Safe (Update) UPDATE: Fiarfax County Police said Zaydie was has been found and is safe. The Fairfax County Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating an endangered missing girl, the department said on Twitter. Zaydie Kimonie Brown, 12, was last seen at Dunn Loring-Merrifield Metro Station around 4:45 p.m. on Monday, 9, police said.  She is described as standing 5'1," weighing 115 pounds with black braided hard and brown eyes. Brown was last seen wearing a purple sweatshirt, jeans and black shoes. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 703-691-2131.
