Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Suspect Sought In Arlington County Bank Robbery, Police Say The Arlington County Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect behind a recent bank robbery. Police responded to the reported robbery in the 900 block of North Taylor Street just before 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, the department said.  Officers learned the male suspect entered the bank, passed a note to a teller demanding money and implied he had a weapon, police said.  The suspect then fled the scene with an unknown amount of cash. Baltimore County Officers & Victim ID'd In Essex Police-Involved Shooting The names of the officers, and the man they shot, in a police-involved shooting in Baltimore County this week have been released by the Maryland Attorney General.  The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Ralph Picarello III of Essex. The officers have been identified as Officers D. Manning and E. Pellegrino.
