Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Stricker Street Fire That Killed 3 Baltimore Firefighters Ruled A Homicide A fire that claimed the lives of three Baltimore City firefighters has been ruled as a homicide, authorities said. Lieutenants Paul Butrim and Kelsey Sadler as well as Firefighter/EMT Kenneth Lacayo were killed after a vacant home on South Stricker Street collapsed on Jan. 24, Baltimore Police said. Baltimore Man Facing 75 Years For Shooting Victim 7 Times In Broad Daylight A Baltimore man is facing up to 75 years in prison for a brutal homicide that occurred last year, the Baltimore State's Attorney's Office reports. Andre Preston was convicted of the second-degree murder of Gary Wilson, who Preston shot seven times in the Rosemont neighborhood in May 2021, the office reports. 15-Year-Old Boy Airlifted To Hospital After Being Shot In Annapolis: Police A 15-year-old boy has been hospitalized following an afternoon shooting in Annapolis, authorities said.
