Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

MD Crews Help DC Firefighters Battle Apartment Blaze Fire departments from several counties pitched in to help the DC Fire Department battle a blaze that sent smoke throughout a large portion of the building. DC Fire and EMS first reported the fire in the 4100 block of Cathedral Avenue NW just after 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 10. Reward Increases For Info In 2021 Murder Of ‘Family Man’ Tony Valenti The reward for information regarding the 2021 murder of popular community member, Rosario “Tony” Valenti, has gone up to $8,000. Valenti was attacked and stabbed to death in the front parking lot while he was leaving Papas Smokehouse in Dundalk shortly after midnight on Friday, February 26, 2021, according to Baltimore County Police. Valenti was 45 at the time and was well known and liked throughout the community. He was also regarded as a “family man,” police said. Victim ID'd In Broad Daylight Shooting In Prince George's; Police Investigating The victim of shooting that happened in broad daylight in Landover on Wednesday, March 9, has been identified, police said. Marvin Scutchings, Jr., 58, of Landover was found with a gunshot wound on the ground in the 800 block of Hill Stream Drive at about 2:15 p.m., Prince George's County Police said. Maryland Trooper Airlifted After Being Struck By Hit-Run Driver: Police A Maryland State Trooper was airlifted to a local hospital after being struck by a hit-and-run driver Thursday, March 10, authorities said. Lawrence Barnes, 68, of Joppa struck the trooper conducting a commercial vehicle inspection on the shoulder of Route 152/Mountain Road, and failed to stop for the inspection itself in Joppa, state police said. Charges Filed Against Students Who Brought BB Guns To Meade High School: Police Two school students are in hot water after they allegedly brought BB guns to an Anne Arundel County high school. The students, age 15 and 16, have had charges filed against them after authorities said they each brought a gun to Meade High School on Thursday, March 10. Baltimore Man Surrenders In Murder Of Dad 'Just Getting Life Together' A man wanted in a January Baltimore killing has surrendered to authorities, authorities said. Employees Of Large Businesses Will Get Pay Hike This Summer In Montgomery County Employees of large businesses in one Maryland county will be getting a pay increase this summer. The minimum wage in Montgomery County will increase to $15.65 for large employers on July 1. This is part of a bill that raises the minimum wage incrementally every year on that date.
