Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Shooting Victim Directed Baltimore Officers To Gunman Trying To Kill Him: Police A 19-year-old male has been arrested on accusations he tried to kill a 20-year-old male, Baltimore Police said. DeShun Smith was charged in connection with a shooting that happened at the 1300 block of West Cross Street on Monday, March 7, authorities said. The victim was said to have alerted police after he fled to the 1100 block of Sargeant Street after being shot by Smith, police said.  Smith was taken to Central Booking Intake Facility and has been charged with attempted first degree murder.

Police ID Maryland Husband & Wife Dead In Suspected Murder-Suicide Police have identified the Maryland couple killed in what they believe was a murder suicide on Tuesday, March 8. Dajuan Jennings, 39, is believed to have shot Neka Jennings, 42, before turning the gun on himself in a home on the 8600 block of New Bedford Harbour in Pasadena around midnight, Anne Arundel County Police said. Zori Cherry is a two-month-year-old baby boy who was last seen on Tuesday, March 8 in Hagerstown. The missing child is said to be in the company of Tianna Dawkins.
