Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Missing Maryland Teen From Montgomery County Found Safe And Unharmed A missing teen from Kensington, who was last reported being seen last week, has been found according to Montgomery County Police.  Jasmine Perez Sales, 16, was found safe and unharmed on Monday, March 7.  Police shared Perez Sales was last seen in the 6400 block of Rock Spring Drive in Bethesda on Wednesday, March 2. The department thanked the public for their assistance in locating the teen.
