Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories. 

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Missing Maryland Man In Hospital Gown Found Dead: Police A man donning a hospital gown who went missing last week was found dead, police in Maryland announced over the weekend. Victor Ruiz, 68, was last seen in the 900 block of Harry S. Truman Drive in Largo at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, March 3.  The next day, Prince George's Police said they responded to a welfare check at around 9:35 a.m. Police later updated the news release to say Ruiz's body was found in the 1200 block of Caraway Court.  Neither the manner of death nor where his body was discovered were not made public. An autopsy will determine his cause of death.&…

Maryland’s congressional delegation announced that a $1.7 billion federal loan will advance the construction of the Purple Line light-rail project, WJX reports. The 16-mile rail line is set to run from New Carrollton to Bethesda. The latest construction of the Purple Line will have 21 stations, join all three MARC lines and connect multiple metro stations, the outlet said.
