Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Heroin, Crack Cocaine Seized From MD, PA Drug Dealers In Routine Stop: State Police A pair of drug dealers — one of whom was wanted on multiple warrants — were found with heroin and crack cocaine during a midnight traffic stop, Maryland State Police said. Clint Christopher Whaul, 39, of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and Leanna Lyn Baker, 32, of Dundalk, Maryland, were stopped on Interstate 97 in Millersville around 12:10 Wednesday, March 2, police said. DC Teen Admits Carjacking Lyft Driver & Leaving Him To Die In Maryland Street: Police A 17-year-old boy form Washington DC has been arrested on accusations he carjacked a 71-year-old Lyft driver then shot him, leaving him for dead in the middle of a Maryland street, authorities announced. The boy confessed to shooting Abdul Rauf Khan while he was trying to break into his car on Dunlap Street in Hillcrest Heights around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, authorities in Prince George's County said. Police ID Victim Killed In Howard County Tractor-Trailer Crash A 32-year-old man died after he rammed the back of a tractor trailer in Howard County overnight, authorities said. Matthew Diehl, of Elkridge, was behind the wheel of a 2021 Toyota Corolla when he struck the trailer on the southbound side of Route 1 at Blue Stream Drive around 2 a.m., county police said. Diehl was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The tractor trailer driver was uninjured. Here's When Washington DC Cherry Blossoms Will Peak The National Mall and Memorial Parks National Park Service has announced this year’s cherry bloom peak. The bloom will fall between March 22 and 25. The peak bloom “is defined as the time when 70% of the Yoshino cherry blossoms – the most common variety – are open," the organization said on Facebook.
