Pleasantville native Jon Craig is special editor for the Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Dutchess Daily Voice sites. He is also the primary reporter for Daily Voice Plus Politics in Westchester and Fairfield.

Jon graduated from Cornell University and received his master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University. Across a 35-year career, he's worked as a reporter for daily newspapers in Chicago, New York, Ohio & Washington, D.C and as managing editor for weekly newspapers in Rye, White Plains and Harrison.

Jon also writes periodically for the Cornell Chronicle.

Driver, 19, Dies In Fiery Central Jersey Crash A 19-year-old driver died after he ran into a trailer on the shoulder of a Woodbridge highway, authorities said. A Freightliner truck with a utility trailer was parked on the right shoulder of Route 440 north when a northbound Honda Accord struck it, according to New Jersey State Police. More Than 1,000 Without Power In Monmouth County There was a power outage that left more than 1,000 Jersey Shore customers without electricity. A total of 1,056 customers remained without power in Monmouth County as of 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, according to JCP&L. The cause of the outages were not immediately clear. On Monday, May 1, at approximately 9:30 p.m., three unidentified white males spray painted exterior walls of A.P.
