'Gong Show' Host Chuck Barris Dies In Hudson Valley At 87
Chuck Barris, who hosted the wacky “The Gong Show” and created such favorites as “The Dating Game” and “The Newlywed Game,” died Tuesday at his Rockland County home in Palisades from natural causes, according to publicist Paul Shefrin. Barris was 87.
Known for his many talents including author, songwriter ("Palisades Park"), and creator of hit TV shows, Barris' autobiography, “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind,” was made into a movie directed by George Clooney and featured Sam Rockwell as Barris, according to Variety.

Memorial Arrangements Made For Former Nanuet HS Class President, 18
ROCKLAND COUNTY, N.Y. -- Memorial services have been set for Connor Donnelly, 18, of Pearl River, who died Saturday after he fell from a balcony in the City of Binghamton.
A first-year student at Binghamton University, Donnelly was born on Sept. 29, 1998, to Martin and Carmel (Kelly) Donnelly at Lennox Hill Hospital.
Donnelly was a graduate of Nanuet Senior High School, where he was senior class president. He lived in Pearl River for the past 12 years and before that, he lived in Woodside.
He is survived by his parents, Martin and Carmel Donnelly and siblings, Denise and Declan Donnelly.
