Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

ID Released For Woman Killed In Hit-Run Hudson Valley Crash The identity has been released of a woman killed in a hit-and-run crash in the area as police seek any possible witnesses. It happened around 4 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 in Rockland County, in the area of Route 9W and Rockland Lake North in Clarkstown. The preliminary investigation has revealed that a 40-year-old woman was walking alongside the southbound lanes of Route 9W when she was struck by an unknown vehicle that fled the scene, Clarkstown Police said. Man Seriously Injured After Being Struck By SUV On Long Island Roadway A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by an SUV on a Long Island roadway overnight. It happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 in Huntington Station. State Police detectives are investigating a home invasion that occurred at a residence during the early morning hours on Saturday, Sept. 4 in Tolland County, in the Town of Ellington.
