Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

It happened around 5:35 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, and involved a motorcycle on westbound Interstate 691 in New Haven County near the Exit 5 entrance ramp in the City of Meriden, according to state police. It happened just before 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 in Medford. Patrick Malone was driving a 2013 Toyota Rav4 southbound on Crooked Hill Drive when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle and overturned, Suffolk County Police said. Malone was ejected from the vehicle.  Malone, of Medford, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Body Of 20-Year-Old Drowning Victim Located In CT Swimming Area The body of a drowning victim has been recovered in northern Connecticut near the Massachusetts border.
