Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

13-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Being Struck In Face By Mortar-Type Firework On Long Island An investigation is underway after an incident in which a teenager was seriously injured by fireworks on a residential Long Island street. The incident happened around 10:50 p.m. Sunday, July 4 in Deer Park. A group of teens was lighting off fireworks in front of a home on Arcadia Drive when a mortar-type firework struck a 13-year-old boy’s face, Suffolk County Police said. Two Women Accused Of Dealing Drugs After Traffic Stop In Western Mass Two women have been accused of dealing drugs after a traffic stop in Western Massachusetts uncovered cocaine and LSD, police announced. Man Threatened To Kill Residents Of Long Island Home After Attempted Burglary, Police Say A 21-year-old was apprehended after police say he attempted to burglarize a Long Island home and then threatened to kill the residents. Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct officers responded to a 911 call from the family of Josue Bedell, age 47, requesting a wellness check at 10:05 a.m. Sunday, July 4, saying they had been unable to get in contact with him since Saturday, July 3. Five New Yorkers Among 11 Members Of Heavily Armed Group Involved In I-95 Standoff Police have identified the heavily armed 10 adults and one juvenile who were apprehended after an hours-long standoff in a wooded area off a busy stretch of Interstate 95 and announced the charges against them.
