Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect In String Of Long Island Residential Burglaries Nabbed A suspect in a string of residential Long Island burglaries has been apprehended, police said. The arrest came after an attempted burglary at a home in Wantagh on Monday, Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m., Nassau County Police said. According to detectives, a 51-year-old man was in the basement of his Woodside Drive residence when he heard a loud noise.  The victim went upstairs to find out what caused the noise, opened his rear door, and observed an unknown male running through his yard, said police. 24-Year-Old Nabbed After Entering Long Island Home, Stealing Car, Police Say A 24-year-old man was apprehended after entering a Long Island home, removing car keys, and then stealing the vehicle, police said. Alexander, a chiropractor in the Hudson Valley, died suddenly on Sunday, Oct. 25 at the age of 58.  Alexander, a resident of Mahopac, was born on Feb. 6, 1962, in New York City, the son of John and Braulia (Alvino) Alexander.  John attended Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia where earned his doctorate in chiropractic medicine.  On April 4, 1992, he married Phyllis Spaccarelli at St. John The Evangelist Church in Mahopac.  "John loved being a chiropractor and loved his patients," his obituary said.
