Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Alert Issued For Missing 15-Year-Old Long Island Girl A 15-year-old Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Victoria Mujica, last seen leaving her residence in Valley Stream on Thursday, Sept. 17 at 11:30 p.m. Her disappearance was reported to Nassau County Police on Sunday, Sept. 20 in the afternoon. She is described as being 5-foot-5, 130 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Her clothing description and destination are unknown. Long Island Man Shot, Killed While Riding In Vehicle An investigation is underway after a shooting that killed a man who was a passenger in a vehicle on Long Island. It happened around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19 in Central Islip. A woman was driving a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta southbound on Carleton Avenue, near Hoppen Drive, when the occupant of another vehicle fired shots into the car, Suffolk County Police said. Man Drove Drunk On Long Island Expressway With Two Kids In Car, Police Say A man who made unsafe lane changes while driving intoxicated on the Long Island Expressway had two young children in the car, police said. Bryan Ramirez, 27, of New York City, was operating a 2002 Gray Acura traveling westbound on the Long Island Expressway near Exit 37 in Roslyn around 4 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, Nassau County Police said. Woman Charged With DWI After Fatal Long Island Crash A woman was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle crash that killed a man overnight on Long Island. It happened Sunday, Sept. 20 at approximately 4 a.m. in Lindenhurst.
