Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

New Tornado Touchdown Confirmed In Region, Bringing Total To Three A new tornado touchdown from severe storm activity in the region on Thursday, Aug. 27 has been confirmed. The National Weather Service announced on Sunday, Aug. 30 that an  Enhanced Fujita Scale (EF) 0 twister touched down in Kent, Connecticut, near the Dutchess County border in Litchfield County, at 3:31 p.m. Thursday. Wilton Man Killed In Two-Vehicle Massachusetts Crash A Connecticut man was killed in a two-vehicle Massachusetts crash. The crash happened in Bristol County at around 3:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 28 in Raynham, Massachusetts State Police said in a statement. Fairfield County resident Mariusz Laszcak, 53, of Wilton, was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle when he collided with a 2016 International truck, state police said. Laszcak died at the scene, according to police. The 32-year-old  truck driver, a resident of Baltimore, Maryland, was not injured.

It happened just before 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29 in Atlantic Beach. According to detectives, officers responded for a serious vehicular accident that occurred on the Atlantic Beach Bridge.  A 27-year-old man was driving a 2000 Chevrolet northbound and struck a 46-year-old male bicyclist, who was also traveling north on the Atlantic Beach Bridge, Nassau County Police said. Jagger Diem, 18, Worked At Assisted Living Facility During COVID Crisis Jagger Michael Diem, a 2019 graduate of Fox Lane High School in Bedford who worked at an assisted living facility in Northern Westchester during the COVID-19 crisis, died suddenly Tuesday morning, Aug. 25. He was 18.
