Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Tracking Isaias: Strong Winds That Could Cause Power Outages, Possible Tornadoes Among Threats This story has been updated. The eye of Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to track near the New York/Connecticut border after it arrives in the region on Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 4. Drenching rain may lead to flooding and winds between 35 to 45 miles per hour with gusts as high as 60 to 65 mph could cause power outages. Alert Issued For 14-Year-Old Girl Who Has Gone Missing In Fairfield County A Silver Alert has been issued for a 14-year-old girl who has gone missing in Fairfield County. Kayfli Leandro was last seen Monday afternoon, Aug. 3 in Norwalk. She is described as being 5-foot-3, 110 pounds with black hair, and brown eyes. Three Killed In Crash Between Tractor-Trailer, Two Cars In Hudson Valley Three people were killed in a crash involving three vehicles on a stretch of the New York State Thruway in the Hudson Valley. The crash, involving a tractor-trailer and two cars, happened around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2 in Ulster County near Exit 19 on the southbound side of I-87 in the town of Ulster. An investigation at the scene revealed that Luc Leblanc, 61, of Sala derry-de-val, Quebec, was operating a 2010 Volvo tractor-trailer, in the right lane when he encountered traffic stopped in front of him at mile marker 88.3, state police said. Man, 60, Killed When Motorcycle Crashes Into Road Sign In Fairfield County A 60-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Northern Fairfield County. The crash happened just after 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 1 on a stretch of Route 35 in Ridgefield, police said. The victim, identified as John Lienhardt, 60, of Cos Cob, was traveling eastbound when his motorcycle went off the roadway, striking a road sign, Ridgefield Police said. He was then treated at the scene and transported to the Danbury Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Long Island Man Exposes Himself To Two Girls At CVS, Police Say A Long Island man has been charged with public lewdness after police say he exposed himself to two girls at a local CVS. The incident happened on Wednesday, July 29 in Bethpage, according to police. Keith Whitenack, 44, of Bethpage, purposely exposed himself while standing in the entrance vestibule at the CVS at 380 Broadway, where he positioned himself to be witnessed by the victims, Nassau County Police said.
