Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

26 People Quarantined In Westchester Due To Coronavirus Concerns Twenty-six people are being voluntarily quarantined in Westchester County over coronavirus concerns, officials announced on Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 18. The 26 were traveled who returned to the United States from areas of the world where COVID-19 cases have occurred. Most of the 26 are being quarantined in their homes, the county said. County officials noted that patients are quarantined when exposed to the illness and that there is no reason to be alarmed and there is no threat to public safety. Masked Armed Men On Loose After Assaulting Two Women In Long Island Home Invasion Two armed men wearing ski masks who broke into a Long Island home in broad daylight are at large. It happened around 4 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17 in Seaford on Hampton Avenue. According to Nassau County Police detectives, the two brandished guns and assaulted two female victims, aged 31 and 30. The suspects then fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means of transportation. Post-Presidents Day Storm: Here's Latest On System That Will Sweep Through Area A post-Presidents Day storm system will sweep through the area will bring rain to the entire region with a chance for snow in areas farther north. Silver Alert Issued For Missing 14-Year-Old Long Island Girl A 14-year-old Long Island girl has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives have issued a silver alert for Huntington Station resident Jessly Diaz. She went missing from her home located on Kingston Place on Sunday, Feb. 16 at approximately 9 p.m. She is 5-foot-3, 100 pounds, with brown hair and black eyes. Mother Accused Of Stabbing 8-Year-Old Son Inside Westchester Residence A mother has been accused of stabbing her 8-year-old son inside a residence in Northern Westchester. It happened around 7:40 a.m. a.m. on Monday, Feb. 17 at an apartment located at 922 Main St. in Peekskill, according to authorities. The woman, 33, was arrested and taken into custody. Northwell Gets State Approval To Open Four Cardiac Catheterization Labs Three Northwell Health facilities have received approval from the state to establish cardiac catheterization labs, expanding access to critical cardiology services in the region. 29-Year-Old Charged With Sexually Assaulting Juvenile, Norwalk Police Say A 29-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting a juvenile. On Dec. 16 last year, the Norwalk PD Special Victims Unit began an investigation into the alleged sexual assault, Zwickler said. It was quickly determined that Harvin Rivera, of Norwalk, was a suspect. Rivera was arrested at his Chapel Street apartment after he was found hiding under a bed on Monday morning, Feb. 17, Norwalk Police Lt. Jared Zwickler said. He was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. Bond has been set at $250,000.

Teen Who Robbed Long Island Rite Aid Caught After Crashing Stolen Car, Police Say A teenager who robbed a Long Island Rite Aid was caught after a foot chase after he crashed a stolen car, police said. The robbery happened just before 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 at the store at 2260 Jerusalem Ave. in Bellmore.
