Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Thousands Of Dollars Worth Of Christmas Gifts Stolen From Community Center In Bridgeport A place that has served as a staple for toys to be given to children in need through an event called Santa's Last Stop was burglarized overnight. At approximately 6 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 25, the burglary was reported at the Bridgeport East End Community Center and Food Pantry at 1149 Stratford Ave. According to the responding officer, approximately $1,500 to 2,000 worth of toys were taken from the pantry. Man, Woman Not Using Crosswalk Before Being Hit By Car Prompts Police Warning In Area A man and woman have been cited for not using the crosswalk after they were struck by a car on Christmas Eve night in the area. It happened at around 8:52 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 24 in Ulster County on Market Street near the Post Office in Saugerties. A fire headquarters on Long Island was severely damaged and three fire trucks and other equipment were destroyed after an early Christmas morning blaze. Drunk Woman Driving Three Times Limit Crashes Into UPS Truck In Area, Police Say A woman whose Jeep crashed into a UPS truck in the area was driving drunk at more than three times the legal limit, state police said. It happened on Sunday, Dec. 22 at 12:25 a.m. on I-87 in Woodbury. The Jeep Wrangler being operated by Meghan L.
