Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Chen Management of Wappingers opened its 15th Dunkin Donuts at in Fishkill at the Hudson Valley Towne Center on 18 Westage Drive. ID Released For Bicyclist Killed After Being Struck By SUV On Long Island The identity of the bicyclist who was killed after being hit by a compact SUV on Long Island has been identified. It happened at 6:50 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 in Huntington Station. The victim, now identified as Sean Siegel, 32, of Huntington Station, was struck by a 2015 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound on Route 110 at the intersection of Jericho Turnpike, Suffolk County Police said. Siegel was transported to Huntington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Nissan, Dominick Amorosa, 48, of East Northport, was not injured, according to police. …

Five Charged At Sobriety Checkpoint Overnight On Long Island Five Long Island residents were charged during an overnight sobriety checkpoint. The checkpoint in Patchogue at Waverly Plaza, located at 361 North Sunrise Highway Service Road, late Friday night, Dec. 20 into early Saturday morning, Dec. 21. Officers from the Suffolk County Police Department Highway Patrol Bureau’s Selective Alcohol Fatality Enforcement Team (SAFE-T) were assisted by state troopers. The incident happened around 10:20 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 19 in Brentwood. Northern Westchester Doctor Admits To Illegally Distributing Fentanyl Resulting In Fatal OD A doctor who resides in Northern Westchester has admitted to illegally distribution fentanyl, resulting in a fatal overdose in 2017, federal authorities announced.
