Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Man Killed In Police-Involved Shooting On Long Island This story has been updated. A man was killed in a police-involved shooting overnight on Long Island. It happened around 10:20 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 19 in Brentwood. Suffolk County Police officers were on patrol in a marked vehicle when they initiated a stop of a vehicle in the parking lot of the Brentwood Long Island Railroad Station. Missing Stamford Mom Found Update: A mother who went missing in Stamford earlier this month has been found. Karolina Martinez Vanni was found on Thursday, Dec. 19 in the Bronx and hospitalized after being found in a disoriented state, authorities announced. ID Released Of Man Found Dead Off Meadowbrook Parkway The identity of a man found dead off a stretch of the Meadowbrook State Parkway on Long Island has been released. State Police said that at approximately 9:38 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 16, road workers discovered the body wrapped in a tarp in the tree line of the parkway southbound ramp to M7 West (Babylon Turnpike). Suspect At Large After Teen Shot In Broad Daylight On Busy Area Street A suspect is on the loose after a teenager was shot in broad daylight on a busy street in downtown Poughkeepsie. It happened on Thursday, Dec. 19 at around 2:15 p.m. in the area of 131 Washington St. (Route 9G), City of Poughkeepsie Police said.
