Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Suspect From Islandia Nabbed For String Of 14 Suffolk County Commercial Burglaries A suspect has been apprehended for a string of more than a dozen commercial burglaries on Long Island. Following an investigation by Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives, Christopher Lacker, age 42, of Islandia, was identified as the man who committed multiple burglaries at storage facilities within the confines of the Fourth and Fifth Precinct between early December 2022 and early November 2023. Popular actor Willem Dafoe is listing the residence in the Hudson Valley hamlet of High Falls, located west of I-87 in Ulster County, for $1.275 million, according to the Robb Report. 28-Year-Old Kills Grandmother At Her Amityville Home, Police Say A man has been apprehended after police say he killed his grandmother at her Long Island home. A 911 call at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 11 reported a stabbing at the residence in Amityville on Watkins Terrace. Miraccia Leopold. Leopold, age 81, was transported to Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip where she was pronounced dead, Suffolk County Police said. ID Released For 27-Year-Old Woman Killed In Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway Crash In Plainview The identity has been released of a young woman who was killed in a crash that caused the hours-long closure of a busy Long Island roadway. The crash happened around 9:10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10 in Plainview. Covid-19: Here Are Symptoms For New Variant That's Now Most Dominant In US A new COVID-19 variant has quickly become the most dominant in the nation just as respiratory virus season arrives. According to the latest data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), HV.1 now makes up 25.2 percent of COVID cases in the US, just ahead of the EG.5 variant (21.9 percent).
