Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Shooting: 45-Year-Old From North Bellport ID'd As Victim At Mastic Home A suspect is on the loose after a fatal overnight shooting at a Long Island residence. It happened around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7 in Mastic. When Suffolk County Police Department officers arrived after a 911 caller reported a man had been shot, they discovered the victim outside the home on Poospatuck Lane with a gunshot wound. Fatal Rollover Crash: 19-Year-Old ID'd As Victim On I-691 Ramp A local teenager was killed in a crash on a busy Connecticut roadway. The crash happened in New Haven County around 2:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4 in Meriden on I-691. A 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo was traveling eastbound on the Exit 1 ramp when it ran off the roadway and collided with a cable barrier in the right shoulder, according to Connecticut State Police.
