Moose Spotted Near CT Highway: Drivers Should Watch Out, Officials Say State environmental officials are warning drivers to be cautious after a moose was spotted near a busy Connecticut highway exit. The warning came as the result of a sighting on Tuesday, Oct. 17, when a moose was seen in Hartford County near Exit 40 on Interstate 91 southbound in Windsor Locks, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection announced. Fire Risk: Electric Car Carefully Removed From Woods After Crashing, Flipping In Millwood Crews had to be careful to avoid sparking a fire while removing an electric vehicle with a lithium-ion battery that crashed and flipped over into a wooded area in Northern Westchester. Man Nabbed For Driving While High, Nearly Hitting Officer In Hudson Valley: Police A 44-year-old man faces charges after nearly striking an officer's vehicle on a Hudson Valley road while he was high on marijuana, police said.
