Golf Course Employee Knocked Unconscious By Fallen Tree Limb In Bedford A golf course employee was hospitalized after they were struck by a fallen tree limb while working in Northern Westchester. The incident happened in Bedford on Wednesday, Sept. 27 around 6:45 a.m., when police responded to the Glen Arbor Golf Club at 234 Bedford Center Rd., where an employee had been hit by a fallen tree limb while driving a golf cart. Peekskill Firefighter Sues Department, City For Discrimination Claims A firefighter is suing the Northern Westchester department he has spent nearly 20 years with for allegedly discriminating against him and denying him recognition of his professional achievements. Construction Begins On $60M Affordable Housing Development By Yonkers Train Station Work has begun on an all-new $60 million development that will include numerous affordable apartments and commercial space located near a Metro-North train station in Westchester. The upcoming development, called The St. Clair, will be located in downtown Yonkers and will include 76 affordable apartments when it is completed, New York Gov. 'Deviant, Destructive': Man Gets Prison Time For Raping Child In Hudson Valley A Connecticut man will spend more than a decade in prison for raping a child in New York's Hudson Valley.
