Springfield Man Talked Foster Child Into Sex Trafficking Gets 18 Years: Feds A Springfield man who talked a child into performing sex acts for money will spend the next 18 years in a federal prison, authorities announced Friday, Jan. 12.  Carlos Casillas, 51, was convicted of sex trafficking a 13-year-old girl in July, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. (Update) 54-Year-Old ID'd As Man Who Drowned In Byfield River: DA A 54-year-old was identified as the man who drowned in a fast-moving river in Byfield on Thursday, Jan. 11, authorities said.  David Harwood, of Byfield, died after he got tangled in some brush in the Parker River near Forest and River streets, the Essex County District Attorney said.
