Man Runs Out Of Gas In Western Mass, Ends Up In Jail: Police A Springfield man who ran out of gas got help from State Police in Hampden County, but he didn't realize it would lead to him sitting in a jail cell. Jamal Ramos, age 25, was found on the shoulder of I-91 in Holyoke earlier this month, State Police said. He said he couldn't get gas and asked for help getting a tow truck to his location. Officers Shutdown 'Open-Air' Drug Market In Holyoke: Police Angry neighbors fed up with crime in their neighborhood called police in Hampden County to demand action. Teen Ejected From SUV, Hit By Traffic Dies In Fiery Lawrence Crash: Police One North Andover teen is dead, and three others are injured after they were involved in a crash on I-495 in Lawrence on Thursday night, Nov. 10, police said. An 18-year-old girl was speeding north near Exit 100 just after 9:15 p.m. in an SUV when she veered into the lane of a 2022 pick-up pulling a camper, State Police said. Wreck Sends Driver To Hospital, Telephone Pole Crashing Down In Western Mass: Police A car in Hampden County left the road Tuesday night, Nov. 7, knocked down a telephone pole, and sent the driver to the hospital with minor wounds. The single-vehicle crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on Main Road in Montgomery near New State Road, Russell-Montgomery police said. Bicyclist Seriously Hurt In Cambridge Car Crash: Police A bicyclist was seriously injured in Cambridge on Tuesday, Nov. 7, following a crash with a car, authorities said.
