Shaq's Big Chicken Restaurant To Open Location At Peabody Mall Shaquille O'Neal's fast-food chicken chain — aptly named Big Chicken — has signed a lease agreement for a space at Peabody's Northshore Mall, the mall's management company said.  The franchise hopes to open the location by Spring 2024. Body Found In Lowell Canal; Police Attempting To ID Them A body was pulled from the water of a Lowell canal Thursday morning, Sept. 7, but investigators are not sure who it is or how it got there.  Officers were called to 110 Canal Street around 11 a.m. after a pedestrian spotted the body floating in the water, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.   The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine how the person died. The body did not show any obvious signs of trauma, authorities said.  Lowell police will investigate the person's identity.
