29-Year-Old Threatens Victim With Machete In Region, Police Say A 29-year-old man was nabbed for attacking another person with a machete on a busy street in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 9 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 4 on Main Street in the Village of Liberty. According to Liberty Police, a dispatcher monitoring the department's Main Street surveillance cameras spotted what appeared to be two people involved in a fight. Officers were dispatched and upon their arrival saw  Brandon Luciano, of Callicoon, with a machete in his hand menacing another person, police said. 32-Year-Old Accused Of Assaulting Trooper After Crash In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after he allegedly attacked a New York State trooper and fought with others following his arrest for DWI. The incident, took place in Dutchess County around 5:30 p.m. in Beacon on Friday, Sept. 2. The city of Beacon Police says the incident involved the woman putting bags sitting in a lobby in her bag. The incident took in Yonkers on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at a jewelry store on Central Avenue. Teen Duo Nabbed In Mount Pleasant With Gun Following Chase, Police Say Two teens were nabbed for allegedly having a weapon following a chase in Northern Westchester. Northern Westchester Man Nabbed With Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine, Authorities Say A man was arrested on narcotics charges during a routine traffic stop in the region. Northern Westchester resident William E. Felling, age 40, of Somers, was arrested on Friday, Sept. 2 in Putnam County on Route 6 in the town of Southeast. During the stop an investigation found Felling was in possession of a quantity of fentanyl and crack cocaine, said Putnam County Sheriff Kevin J. McConville. Felling was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was released on his own recognizance, pending a return court date on Thursday, Sept. 15.

Second Suspect Charged For Shooting Death Of Man In Bridgeport, Police Say Police have arrested a Fairfield County man in connection with the alleged killing of a Connecticut man who was gunned down during a robbery of $130 and cellphones. James Howard, 28, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 7, in connection with the Saturday, Aug. 13 murder of New Haven County resident Troy Walker, age 21, of Ansonia, on Knowlton Street. Man Extradited From Hawaii For CT Homicide More than 11 years after the crime, a suspect is facing charges for his involvement in the 2011 murder of a Connecticut man. Andrew Spino, age 34, was extradited from Hawaii, where he was in jail on unrelated charges, by US Marshals to New Haven County in connection with the March 2011 murder of Isaia Hernandez in Ansonia.
