Two Killed After SUV Hits Deer In New England Two people were killed on when their SUV hit a deer on a busy roadway in Massachusetts. The incident took place in Middlesex County on I-495 in Chelmsford around 4:50 a.m., Friday, June 3. When troopers arrived on the scene they discovered a 2016 Nissan Rogue driven by a 53-year-old Acton man in a stand of trees in the median, said Trooper Brandon Doherty.  The man and his passenger were determined to be dead on the scene, Doherty said. Police Want Help Identifying Those Involved In CT Beach Brawl Police are asking the public for help identifying a group of beachgoers involved in a brawl at a Connecticut beach.  The brawl took place in New Haven County around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, May 30 in Milford at Walnut Beach. When Milford Police responded to a report of numerous fights among a crowd as large as 500 people they were "quickly overwhelmed by the large, unruly crowd," the Milford Police said. Joseph Heffner, aka “JC”, age 42, of Greenwich, surrendered to Greenwich Police at 11 am Thursday, June 2, after learning that there was a warrant for his arrest. Video Surveillance Used To Nab Stolen Credit Card Suspect In Westport A Fairfield County man has been charged with allegedly stealing a credit card from a business and then using it to charge more than $1.5K in goods. The theft took place in Westport in July 2021 from a business located on Post Road East. When police arrived at the business, a woman said her company American Express card had been stolen and then used by the suspect to purchase more than $1,500 in goods, said Lt.
