DUI Franklin Lakes Driver Pleads Guilty In Head-On NY Crash
A Franklin Lakes man who had fentanyl in his system during a New York crash that left another driver dead has pleaded guilty to manslaughter, authorities said.
James Greco, 52, pleaded was driving a pickup truck on Route 42 in the Town of Fallsburg on Friday, May 21, 2021, with oxycodone and fentanyl in his system, when he corssed a double yellow line and struck into a vehicle driven by Jose Daniel Roldan-Roldan, 29, of Spring Valley.
Emergency responders transported Roldan-Roldan to Garnett Catskills Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Ossining Deli Owner Found Guilty Of Sexually Abusing Employee
A Northern Westchester deli owner has been found guilty of the sex abuse of an employee in 2021.
Patrick Patierno, age 54, of Yorktown, was found guilty on Monday, May 9 following a two-week trial in which the jury found the Ossining deli owner sexually abused the employee, said Westchester County District Attorney Miriam E. Rocah.
On Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, around 9:30 a.m., Patierno entered the home of the victim, who was one of his employees. Once inside, he restrained the victim and forcibly subjected her to sexual contact, the DA's Office said.

NJ Man, 19, Admits To Fatally Shooting Man At NY Apartment
A 19-year-old New Jersey teen has pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the shooting death of a Hudson Valley man in 2019.
Jayden Rodriguez, of North Bergen, made the plea on Tuesday, May 1, for the homicide which took place in Spring Valley, according to Rockland County District Attorney Tom Walsh.
During his plea, Rodriguez admitted that on or about Sunday, Sept. 1, 2019, he entered a Spring Valley apartment building and fired numerous shots at an individual identified as 20-year-old Emerson Jean-Baptiste, ultimately causing his death, Walsh said.

A former Massachusetts elementary school music teacher has been found guilty of raping a fifth-grade student multiple times inside the classroom more than 10 years ago.
Hampshire County resident Stephen Jaszek, age 66, of South Hadley, was found guilty on Thursday, May 12, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early, Jr.

Western Mass Man Nabbed For Shooting Car, Police Say
A Western Massachusetts has been arrested on firearms charges in connection with a shooting where bullets hit a car.
The arrest took place in Hampden County in Springfield around 8:45 a.m., Thursday, May 12.
Victor Aytche, age 29, of Springfield, was arrested on a warrant by members of the Springfield Police investigative unit in connection with a shooting that took place on Wednesday, May 4, said Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police.
Aytche became a suspect during the investigation into the May 4 shooting in which a car was shot, Walsh said.
