Suspect Charged With Assault After Stabbing Man During Fight On Long Island, Police Say
A man is under arrest for allegedly stabbing a victim during an altercation on Long Island.
The incident took place in Plainview around 7 p.m., Monday, May 2, in the parking lot of 170 Express St.
According to detectives, officers responded to a 911 call for a man who had been stabbed in the parking lot of 170 Express St., said the Nassau County Police.
Upon arrival, officers located the 42-year-old victim who was involved in an altercation with another man known to the victim, police said.

Police have released the identity of two men found shot to death inside a Long Island home.
The men were found in Selden around 10:45 p.m., Tuesday, May 3 at a home located at 55 Hollywood Ave.
As part of a missing person investigation, detectives responded to the home and found two men shot to death in the home, Suffolk County Police said.

Man Admits To Murder Of 21-Year-Old Woman In Hudson Valley
A Hudson Valley man has pleaded guilty to murder and other charges in connection with the shooting death of a young woman.
Orange County resident, Carlos Rivera, age 49, of Newburgh, made the plea on Monday, May 2 for the murder which took place in New Windsor in December 2019.
During the incident, Chelsea Debidi, age 21, of Walden, was killed at the Knox Village Apartments in New Windsor at the home of her 20-year-old boyfriend’s family, said the Orange County District Attorney's Office.

A Hudson Valley couple has been sentenced to life in prison for the murder of a popular chef and his brother during a home burglary in 2021.
Orange County residents Chasity Cutway, age 38, and David Host, age 33, of both of Walden, were sentenced on Friday, April 29.
