Man Accused Of Assaulting Woman At CT Red Roof, Not Allowing Her To Leave
A Connecticut man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman in a hotel room and not allowing her to leave.
The New Haven County incident took place in Milford on Friday, April 22.
When police arrived at the Red Roof Inn, 10 Rowe Ave., an investigation found Troy Gosbin, age 29, of Milford, assaulted the woman in the room and refused to let her leave, said the Milford Police Department.
He also choked the woman during the altercation, restricting her airway, and she sustained minor injuries to her face, neck, and arms, police added.

A man from the area was issued 26 traffic tickets and charged with DWI after he allegedly left the scene of a crash.
A Greene County resident Szitter Zoltan, age 30, of Catskill, was arrested in Ulster County in Saugerties on Saturday, April 23.

LI Man Holds Officers At Bay For Hours, Throws Oil-Filled Bottles At Officers, Police Say
A reported suicidal person on Long Island held police at bay for more than four hours while throwing oil-filled bottles at officers, according to police.
The incident began in Southampton around 7:15 a.m., Friday, April 22.
According to Southampton Town Police, the department received a call reporting a missing person who was suicidal.
Patrol officers, along with members of the detective division were able to locate the individual at about 3 p.m., in the Riverwoods Mobile Home Park, located on Route 104 in Riverside, said Lt. Todd Spencer, of the Southampton Police.

Teen, Woman Injured In Shooting On CT Street
Two people were injured, one critically, in a shooting on a busy Connecticut street.
The shooting took place in Hartford around 7 p.m., Sunday, April 24, at 18 Townley St., next to Saint Francis Hospital.
According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, officers responded to the area after receiving calls of shots fired and found evidence of a shooting, but no victims.
While on the scene, two victims arrived at an area hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds, Boisvert said.
