Alert Issued For Missing 11-Year-Old CT Girl Police have issued a missing person's alert for a missing 11-year-old Connecticut girl. Jamayra Halstead, of Hartford, was last seen around 4 p.m., on Monday, April 18, in the area of Hillyer Street, said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police. Halstead was wearing a short-sleeve purple shirt, black pants, and yellow and gray shoes, police said. IDs Released For Two Killed In Boating Accident Off Stamford Coast State officials have released the identities of two men killed in a boating accident off the coast of Fairfield County. The men have been identified as Cristofer Cifuentes, age 26, and Ludyn Cifuentes, age 41, both of New York City, said Will Healy, spokesman for the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection. The men were found with two other boaters who were pulled from the cold waters of Long Island Sound off of West Beach in Stamford, following a boating accident on Sunday, April 17, Healy said. Stamford Officer Saves Man Following Stabbing On City Street A Fairfield County man was saved by a quick-thinking police officer after he was stabbed on a city sidewalk. The incident took place in Stamford around 9 a.m., Saturday, April 16, in the area of 579 Pacific St. Stamford Officer Nicholas Kuhn was on routine patrol when he was alerted to a man lying on the sidewalk by a passerby in the area. Fatal Crash Closes Busy Hudson Valley Roadway State Police are investigating a fatal crash in the Hudson Valley after a Honda Accord was hit by a tree truck. The crash took place on the Rockland/Orange County line in the town of Tuxedo on Old Route 17 around 7:10 a.m., Monday, April 18.
