Hudson Valley Trio Facing Gang Assault Charges After Snowmobile Dispute Three area men are facing gang assault charges following a dispute over a snowmobile last month. New York State Police at Catskill in Greene County announced the recent arrest of Cody Edwards, age 30, and Clyde Edwards, age 53, both of Catskill, and Ulster County resident Casey Edwards, age 28, of Saugerties for gang assault. Suffolk County Man Charged For Valentine's Day Liquor Store Robbery A Long Island man has been charged with the robbery of a liquor store that left an employee injured on Valentine's Day. Donte Harrell, age 23, of Patchogue, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 23, for the incident which took place on Friday, Feb. 14 at Suffolk Wines and Liquor in Selden. Harrell was arrested for allegedly going into the store and stealing two bottles of liquor around 1:30 p.m., said the Suffolk County Police. When an employee tried to stop him, he punched the man in the face. During the scuffle with Harrell, the employee fell causing him to bruise his hand, police said. …

Suffolk County Man Killed In Crash With Mack Truck A man was killed in a crash with a Mack truck on a busy Long Island roadway. Robert Favichia, age 57, of Copiague was killed around 5:30 a.m., Friday, Feb. 25 in Lindenhurst. Favichia was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup truck eastbound on Montauk Highway when his vehicle struck a 2009 Mack truck that was backing out of an alley in front of 51 Montauk Highway, according to Suffolk County Police. Suspect Throws Brick Through State Police Barracks In Northern Westchester Despite a full-out search including helicopters, a suspect who threw a brick through the window of a  state police barracks in the Hudson Valley managed to escape. The incident took place on Thursday, Feb. 24 Northern Westchester at the State Police Somers Barracks, located at 295 Route 100 during the evening hours. According to Trooper AJ Hicks, the suspect was on an ATV when they threw the brick and despite a large search by troopers and area police, they managed to escape detection. Long Island Pellet Gun Shootings Could Be Related To TikTok Challenge Police on Long Island are investigating whether a series of pellet gun shootings that injured at least one young girl are related to a TikTok challenge.  In the challenge, people are encouraged to fire soluble gel beads from airsoft guns at pedestrians and other vehicles on the roadway.
